甲米Krabi之旅 ~ Day 2

Early in the morning, memang early in the morning, even thought time in Thai is one hour late than in Malaysia.
Due to this is my first time to go for island tour, I think I am the only one to wear a swimsuit instead of bikini. LOL
So I quickly grab myself a pair of bikini once back from the tour!

Free breakfast is available everyday during the period we stay in the resort.
Maybe due to low season, breakfast buffet is not available, ends up we eating the same breakfast throughout all the days.
This is just part of the breakfast. Our bacon, sausage, egg, salad is yet to be served.
We wait at lobby while waiting for tuk tuk to pick us up to the port.
I didn't capture the picture of tuk tuk. It looks almost like this~
For island tour, you can choose whether to take up the tour by long-tail boat or speed boat.
By the way, it is recommended to try both of them if you stay at Ao Nang for several days.
I personally prefer speed boat, because of the helmsman of speed boat that i board was able to perform a 360 degree circle turn!!!
However, you will get wet more if you take a speed boat, compared to long-tail boat.

A long-tail boat.
A speedboat.
Not forgot to take a picture while waiting for our boat. The island tour on first day is 4-island tour (Phra Nang bay, Poda island, Chicken island and Tub island) by long-tail boat. It comes along with the hotel we booked.
It's better to wear a life jacket while on the boat, especially if you couldn't swim. Like me!
First station: Phra Nang bay

Phra Nang Bay.
Phra Nang Shrine.

According to legend, Phra Nang was an Indian princess who was killed in a shipwreck. In another tale, Phra Nang was the wife of a fisherman who was lost at sea. She lived out the rest of her days in the cave, awaiting her husband's return.

Today, local fisherman and boatmen leave offerings in Phra Nang cave to ensure safe travel on the sea. These offers take the form of male genitalia - the cave is covered in many "linga", or phallic-shaped statues meant to represent the Hindu god Shiva. The offerings in Phra Nang cave are especially realistic - the penises have discernible ridges and heads. They are decorated with colorful cloth, and the cave is filled with incense.

You can also do rock climbing in Phra Nang, but not for coward like me. -.-
Phra Nang is one of the primary areas in Railay.
Second station: Poda island

Poda island. I believe this biji of thing can be seen in most of the postcards.
A panorama view of Poda island. A bit cacat la my skill.
Third station: Chicken island
We had our very first snorkeling here.

Aww the lanci one can lay on water. I lose him nine streets already. XD

Fourth station: Tub island
A bit disappointed when we found out that, the time we reach here, the sand bridge cannot be seen.
Maybe it's due to high tide.
This is how it supposed to be. But what we see is just sea -.- Maybe it is at another direction? Not sure... :'(
End of the island tour.
Never expect any part of your body to be clean after the tour. XD
So, it is a tiring job to wash all our clothes once we reach our hotel.
Never forget to use hair conditioner after the tour~

At night, we had our dinner at After Tsunami seafood restaurant.

After dinner, we walked in Walking Street again, sambil look for nice bikini, sambil inquire about cheap island tour.

Spotted this in Walking Street.

Coconut ice-cream. Best in the world!
That's all for Day 2 trip.
