甲米Krabi之旅 ~ Day 5

The last day of Krabi trip.
We had to check out on 3pm, so it's impossible for us to take up any tour on that day.
So, we just hanging around in Ao Nang by bike.
We went for massage after taking our breakfast.
It's a massage house located just by the Ao Nang beach.
Cheap and good service.
But again... I forgot the name of the shop.

Went to Number 1 Thai food to take our lunch.
Seems like the owner of the shop is a Chinese huh?

Seafood fried rice.

Seafood tomyam. Awesome for both!

Originally we planned to go to Boat Noodle, just right opposite to Number 1.
But Boat Noodle closed at 4pm, there was no more space in our stomach to load any food.
It's ok, alright.... We can still try Boat Noodle in KL. :D

After checking out, we put our luggage in the hotel counter and take bus to go to Big C.
We have made a wrong choice.
It takes a long long time to reach there due to stupid driver, we also faced some problem when we coming back to Ao Nang.
Luckily there was two locals, one of them who is able to speak some Mandarin, riding the same tuk tuk with us and managed to get us out of misery.
Appreciate :)

The pocky is damn cheap weh! only RM2 kat Krabi but costs RM 2.80 in Malaysia. LOL
Banana tart and blueberry tart?

We spent a night at Mc Donalds, because we had to be at the airport before 6.40am.
It's not worth spend more money in hotel but only sleep for few hours XD
The air-cond in Mc Donalds was so damn cold T.T
Thanks the one who stay awake for whole night just to take care of me, and hope he has enjoyed his football match.
By the way, taste of pork burger is just so-so...
Prices of Mc Donalds in Ao Nang is also more expensive compared to that in Bangkok.
We had booked a van departed on 5.30am from Ao Nang to Krabi airport earlier.
There was another couple who was in the same van with us.

However, quite a lot of people overnight in the airport.
Perhaps we can do so next time... But that airport is not as comfy as KLIA2 la... XD

The brunch we had at The Loaf in KLIA2.. expensive and taste so-so.
Even hot chocolate also costs RM 18.20.
We should have go to Pasta Mania. :(
Bye Ao Nang, Bye Krabi, Bye KLIA2!
Hope to see you again KLIA2.
Looking forward to next trip yo~~~!
Sincerely hope that there will be no more tragedy in the aviation industry anymore.

甲米Krabi之旅 ~ Day 4

Island tour of the day was Hong island.
As we visited Phi Phi island the day before this, a woman travelling alone from UK told us that Hong island is nice.
We was struggling whether to choose Tiger Cave or Hong island.
But we managed to make a smart choice at last. Haha!
Due to low season in Krabi, the prices for island tour are almost 50% discount from the prices stated in the brochures.
But, we were quite lucky. The weather was good on first day and second day tour.
It rained on the day we visited Hong island.
The company we chose was Barracudas.
The boat that we chose was long-tail boat.
Outfit of the day. Ignore my swollen eyes!
Curi-curi capture tour guide's duckling. It's too adorable.
I also can't remember the name of four places for Hong island.
The places is not so impressive, but there were a group of Chinese from Malaysia, made up of three pairs of couples which made our days.
One of them keep making joke and eat non-stop, LOL!
However, Hong island is the place that I finally have the courage to float on water, even though wearing a life jacket....
You can feed the fishes with bread.

The place where we had our lunch.
Feeding the catsss.
Even though it was raining, the sea water was still warm.

This post... erm...

That's the end of our Hong island tour~

At night, we went to Krabi town night market. It would be a bit too far if ride a bike from Ao Nang to Krabi town.
It costs 500 Baht to go there if you ask for tourist package...
For taxi, it costs around 800 Baht for round trip.
However, it only cost you 60 Baht if you take the bus from Ao Nang to Krabi town!
But take note that the last trip will be 9pm or 9.30pm, you have to ask the driver for confirmation.

Mini sushi. Only 5 Baht each.

The BBQ pork is damn awesome!! Highly recommended!

Spring roll.

Pad thai (thai fried kuey teow)

Traffic light of different themes in Krabi town.

End of Day 4 Trip.

甲米Krabi之旅 ~ Day 3

Island tour for today is Phi Phi island.
You cannot choose between long-tail boat or speedboat for this tour.
Only speedboat is available because Phi Phi island located quite far from Ao Nang, about 45 minutes ride.
You can also take Phi Phi island tour from Phuket.

The tour guide for this tour is quite cincai.
We were supposed to visit eight places of attraction, but ends up we only visited 5-6, and most of it I do not know about the name.
I can only remember several places:
Bamboo island
Snorkeling. I can't remember the name. Kiasi me keep holding the rope T.T Btw it's a nice place to snorkel. Clear water to see fishes and coral reefs (told by others T.T)
Jump again, at Phi Phi island. But this time, with a tanned skin. Ouch!
The slipper that I bought at Walking Street @ Ao Nang. So cheap and comfortable XD

Huh? That's the end of Phi Phi island tour?
Ya.
But I hope to visit Phi Phi again if there is any chance, or when I go to Phuket... It's way too beautiful!!!
This time I will have the courage to float on water and look into the sea!! I swear!!

Hmm, I can't recall what I have eaten as dinner. Probably is roadside food nearby Emerald Garden Resort :p
But I found another pancake picture in my phone.
Warm reminder: The pancake sold at Walking Street of Ao Nang is quite expensive. You can get it at cheaper price on the way to Wangsai seafood restaurant, located at left hand side before a bridge.
Raining cats and dogs on that night.
Have a break, have a hot chocolate drink.
You can see quite a number of restaurants and massage shop along Walking Street. There are Burger King, Haagen Dazs and the shop where I had my drink - Movenpick. Starbucks and 24 hours Mc Donalds is located on another side.

End of Day 3 trip.

甲米Krabi之旅 ~ Day 2

Early in the morning, memang early in the morning, even thought time in Thai is one hour late than in Malaysia.
Due to this is my first time to go for island tour, I think I am the only one to wear a swimsuit instead of bikini. LOL
So I quickly grab myself a pair of bikini once back from the tour!

Free breakfast is available everyday during the period we stay in the resort.
Maybe due to low season, breakfast buffet is not available, ends up we eating the same breakfast throughout all the days.
This is just part of the breakfast. Our bacon, sausage, egg, salad is yet to be served.
We wait at lobby while waiting for tuk tuk to pick us up to the port.
I didn't capture the picture of tuk tuk. It looks almost like this~
For island tour, you can choose whether to take up the tour by long-tail boat or speed boat.
By the way, it is recommended to try both of them if you stay at Ao Nang for several days.
I personally prefer speed boat, because of the helmsman of speed boat that i board was able to perform a 360 degree circle turn!!!
However, you will get wet more if you take a speed boat, compared to long-tail boat.

A long-tail boat.
A speedboat.
Not forgot to take a picture while waiting for our boat. The island tour on first day is 4-island tour (Phra Nang bay, Poda island, Chicken island and Tub island) by long-tail boat. It comes along with the hotel we booked.
It's better to wear a life jacket while on the boat, especially if you couldn't swim. Like me!
First station: Phra Nang bay

Phra Nang Bay.
Phra Nang Shrine.

According to legend, Phra Nang was an Indian princess who was killed in a shipwreck. In another tale, Phra Nang was the wife of a fisherman who was lost at sea. She lived out the rest of her days in the cave, awaiting her husband's return.

Today, local fisherman and boatmen leave offerings in Phra Nang cave to ensure safe travel on the sea. These offers take the form of male genitalia - the cave is covered in many "linga", or phallic-shaped statues meant to represent the Hindu god Shiva. The offerings in Phra Nang cave are especially realistic - the penises have discernible ridges and heads. They are decorated with colorful cloth, and the cave is filled with incense.

You can also do rock climbing in Phra Nang, but not for coward like me. -.-
Phra Nang is one of the primary areas in Railay.
Second station: Poda island

Poda island. I believe this biji of thing can be seen in most of the postcards.
A panorama view of Poda island. A bit cacat la my skill.
Third station: Chicken island
We had our very first snorkeling here.

Aww the lanci one can lay on water. I lose him nine streets already. XD

Fourth station: Tub island
A bit disappointed when we found out that, the time we reach here, the sand bridge cannot be seen.
Maybe it's due to high tide.
This is how it supposed to be. But what we see is just sea -.- Maybe it is at another direction? Not sure... :'(
End of the island tour.
Never expect any part of your body to be clean after the tour. XD
So, it is a tiring job to wash all our clothes once we reach our hotel.
Never forget to use hair conditioner after the tour~

At night, we had our dinner at After Tsunami seafood restaurant.

After dinner, we walked in Walking Street again, sambil look for nice bikini, sambil inquire about cheap island tour.

Spotted this in Walking Street.

Coconut ice-cream. Best in the world!
That's all for Day 2 trip.
