Third round of the day: Toys Café

The time we reached the café was around 10pm.

We passed by Pit Stop and The Alley.

But too bad, Pit Stop is closed, and The Alley was too crowded and we couldn’t take photos :S

So we decided to go to Toys Café.

I asked the tauke is it they are going to end their business for the day already,

But the tauke smiled and told us it’s ok, he let us take our order and had our seats.

I ordered a cranberry cotton cheese cake and KC ordered a baked cheese cake.

The original prices for the cakes are RM 9.90, but they are having promotion right now, the cakes are only cost RM 7.90.

Just simple drawing on the plate. The cake also not very nice.

I found on their FB that they provide this kind of drawing :( 

But doesn't matter, I would probably visit this cafe for second time if got chance, since the tauke is so friendly and the cafe is still new. :))

I have found this as well! Hope to try the coffee next time! Looks tempting!

Café 55

Second round after Behind 50: Café 55.

Wanted to come here quite long ago, but keep find boh teman!

Since just had dinner around here, so we decided to walk here.

Hmm… kinda shocked when I opened the menu.

The price of the food is quite high.

I thought this café was just selling coffee or tea and some desserts,

But they serve main course as well.

Seriously, 3D art beverage is pricey L

But then no choice, YOLO!

Hence I ordered a cup of Hazelnut Latte with 3D art, and KC ordered a cup chocolate milk with 3D art.

Waited for around 15 minutes then we get our drinks served.

We sit just right in front of the counter, so we had the chance to take a glance on how the barista did the 3D art J

Aww… the 3D was just too awesome and I feel so reluctant to start drinking it!

But I still have to do so since I couldn’t take the coffee back home :S

Be honest, caffeine has no effect on me. 

I could sleep well even I drink 2 cups of coffee at night.

But the hazelnut latte made me so "excited" and suffer from insomnia that night.

So better take note!

Behind 50

Bored, long time never went for food hunting.
But now, I am back to my blog again!
Indeed blogging is a good way to express my feeling, it is also a good way to flash back the food, stuffs and memory whenever we want to.
Too bad, I just don't have so much time to blog. :(

Visited Behind 50 on previous Tuesday with KC.
He is a good eatmate and very nice to jio.
Haha!
Behind 50, I heard that it is under the same boss as Kwong Sang House,
but food in Behind 50 is way better than that as in Kwong Sang House.
That's why I decided to take a try on Behind 50.
On the way to Behind 50, I have made a few turns, looking for the parking slot...
You know la, Love Lane is quite a dangerous spot in Penang.
Behind 50 is located at Muntri Street, nearby Love Lane.

The restaurant is pretty small.
There is a lounge near the roadside, which is quite good for people to "ka teh" or drink.
The design in the restaurant is pretty attractive as well.
But the time we visited was about 8pm dinner time, quite many customers and noisy, I feel shy shy to take picture :(

The design of the menu quite special.
It was made up of stamp albums. :)

Set dinner was available.
The set included:
Signature mushroom soup (RM 6.90)
Peach tea (RM 4.50)
Main course &
Ice-cream (RM1.90)
If not mistaken, the price of set dinner is price of main course + RM 9.

The mushroom soup is very nice, really can chew the mushroom inside the soup.... heavenly nice!

During that time, there was only one set dinner available. KC took the set and I just ordered ala carte.
Because I know we were going for second round at least XD
I ordered a Pasta Chicken Ragu.
He ordered a Hawaii Chicken.

Pasta Chicken Ragu. First taste quite nice, but eventually I felt that it was too salty.

Price: RM 12.90

Hawaii Chicken. I didn't taste it so couldn't give any opinion.

Price: RM 18.90

Overall is OK.
But hard to find a proper parking slot.
Better beware of saman if you go at day. :)

D Fahrenheit Yogurt

It's the last few days for this semester break...
What I gotta do...
It's gonna be eat, eaT, eAT, EAT!!
It's ok la... My weight just increase by few k's grams...
NOT A BIG DEAL!
HEHE!

I have bought a Groupon voucher of RM 50 which worth RM 100.
deng deng~
I like to try those cafe or restaurant with special themes and designs.
Of course... I will not forget to take picture!

One of the attracting points! Guys must be in love with this! The chair... when you lean on it... hmm...

There are roughly 8 tables in the restaurant. each with the upper body of the model or lower body of the model :) hope you don't have the phobia of being grabbed by the hands! XD

These are the things that we have ordered:

Caramel cheesy dory. Can't believe that the fish here is cheaper than chicken. It's quite nice and special, good for sharing because it is salty. 

Price: RM 16.90

Yogurt fondue. Another special one. Believe your eyes. There are mussels, sausages, burger meat and crab which are used to dip into the yogurt fondue!

Price: RM 39.90

The best dish on the day. Peach white wine yogurt! Like the special taste of it, and the biscuits base! The biscuits are so compact!

Price: around RM 11

The blue cheese yogurt. I don't think much people can accept the taste. It's salty. :(

Price: around RM 11

Chocolate rum. The bottom part is chocolate, the upper part is also biscuits.

Price: around RM 11

The service charge is 10%.
Overall, it's a very good environment for gathering.
It's just located behind of Lexus, same row as E & O Hotel.
You may park your car at the car park there, and let the staff of D Fahrenheit stamp on your ticket to get a
deduction on your parking fee. :)
